We are seeking to fill the following positions:

Automation Controls Engineer -

Creative, self-motivated individual to engineer and oversee the construction of electrical control systems for industrial equipment. Applicant must have an associate or bachelor degree in electrical design/engineering and should have 1-3 years of work experience in this field.  Ideal candidate will have experience in developing hard wire drawings, PLC programs and industrial motor controls, understand National Electric Code, NFPA 79, UL ratings, general knowledge of automated machinery control, equipment design and the skills to organize and manage variable frequency drives.  Experience with AutoCAD, pneumatics, hydraulics, robot programming and servo controls are added benefits.  Some travel will be required.

Field Service Engineer -

Seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong electrical and mechanical background to oversee equipment startups, repairs and modifications primarily in the field.  Approximately 30%-50% of the time will be in the field, which requires travel (some internationally). The balance of the time will be working on equipment on site at Machine Concepts, programming and debugging equipment, providing phone support to customers, providing support to the design engineering department and miscellaneous office tasks required for the service department.  

 

Skills required: knowledge of PLC code, programming, Microsoft Office, AutoCad, and ability to read and understand electrical prints, knowledge of National Electric Code, NFPA 70 and UL ratings.  Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and basic mechanics. Associate degree or a minimum of three years of experience is required.  Bachelors Degree preferred.

Field Service Technician -

Seeking a Self-motivated individual with a strong electrical and mechanical background to oversee equipment startups and repairs primarily in the field. Approximately up to 30%- 50% of the time will be in the field, which requires travel (some internationally).   The balance of the time will be assembling, and working on machines on site at Machine Concepts Inc, wiring control panels, providing phone support to customers, providing support to the design engineeering department and miscellaneous office tasks required for the service department.  Personal hand tools for light mechanical and electrical work will be needed.

Skills required; Basic computer skills, ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical prints, knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.  Knowledge of electrical controls wiring, and desire to work with PLC's a plus.  Associate degree or a minimum of three years of experience is preferred..
